Gadar 2 teaser out: The Gadar 2: The Katha Continues trailer has finally been released. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are poised to reprise their roles in the sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The film is set to be released on August 11, 2023.
The long-awaited Gadar 2 teaser has been released. Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is a forthcoming 2023 Indian Hindi-language historical action drama film directed and produced by Anil Sharma based on Shaktimaan Talwar’s narrative. It is the follow-up to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma play the key roles in the film.
The main character, Tara Singh (Sunny Deol), will travel back to Pakistan to retrieve his son, Charanjeet “Jeete” Singh (Utkarsh Sharma). The Indo-Pak War of 1971 will serve as the backdrop for the movie.

Gadar: Ek Prem Katha is a 2001 film set against the backdrop of India’s partition in 1947. The film is claimed to be loosely inspired on Boota Singh, a former British army man. He was famous for his tragic love story with Zainab, a Muslim girl he saved during the partition communal violence. Anil Sharma directed the film, which stars Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel in prominent roles alongside Amrish Puri and Lillete Dubey.
