New Delhi: ‘Gadar 2’ is one of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies of 2023. Anil Sharma’s film also stars Ameesha Patel in the lead role. The film hits theaters on August 11.
On the 20th day, the film grossed a total of Rs 474.5 crore in India. However, “Gadar 2” is currently slowing down in its collection. Even so, the film is heading towards the coveted Rs 500 crore.

On August 30, at Raksha Bandhan, ‘Gadar 2’ won a whopping Rs 8.75 crore nett in India. As a result, the film’s box office total now stands at Rs 475.5 crore (net). Meanwhile, “Gadar 2” had an overall occupancy rate of 33.88% as of August 30.

“Gadar 2” follows Tara Singh as he ventures across the border in a daring attempt to save her son, played by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured in Pakistan. Set in Lahore in 1971, “Gadar 2” perfectly recreates the gripping action sequences of the prequel while also portraying Tara Singh’s unrelenting anger at the instigators of Indian hatred.

He is known for his tragic love affair with Zainab, a young Muslim girl he saved during a community riot at the time of separation. It stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles alongside Amrish Puri and Lillete Dubey.
