In a shocking case, a woman was arrested for having sexual relationship with her dog. Her ex-boyfriend was also arrested for allegedly assisting her in this matter. The ex-boyfriend is accused of filming the entire ‘act’ and saving it to a hard drive. The case is from Florida, in the United States of America.

Christina Calello, 36, was arrested by police for having a relationship with her dog. Geoffrey Springer (39), Christina’s ex-boyfriend, has also been arrested. Christina is accused of exploiting the dog for the past eight years. The arrest report makes mention of this.

Both produced in court

Christina and Geoffrey have been accused of animal-related sexual activity. Both were brought to court this week and granted bail after posting a bond of about Rs 4 lakh. Christina had previously been arrested in a domestic violence case, according to the records.

At the same time, the dog was taken to a nearby animal hospital, where the doctors did not reveal the breed of the dog. However, according to police, the dog was not injured.

It is worth noting that, with the exception of four states in America, Wyoming, New Mexico, Hawaii, and West Virginia, having a relationship with animals is illegal in all other states. However, it is not a serious offence. If convicted, he could face up to a year in prison.

There is no reliable data on animal relationships, according to The Journal of Qualitative Criminal Justice and Criminology, but research indicates that “5 to 8% of men are involved in such crimes, while 3 to 4% of women are also involved.”
