Matthew Perry, best known for his role in ‘Friends’, passed away tragically in October 2023 after he was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his home. Almost a year after his death, the house where he spent his final moments has been sold for a huge amount. According to a report by People, Perry had purchased his Los Angeles home for 6 million USD.
The report further revealed that Perry’s house had been sold for 8.5 million USD. The house is located in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of LA and has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Carolwood Estates’ Greg Holcombe handled the listing for Perry’s house, whereas, Brooke Elliot Laurinkus of Christie’s International Real Estate represented the buyer.
Matthew Perry’s mother Suzanne Morrison recently appeared on the show NBC Morning News and talked about how she had a premonition before her son’s tragic death. She shared, “Just before he died when he was showing me one of his new houses. He came up to me and said, ‘I love you so much, and I’m so happy to be with you now. And I’m so…It was almost as though it was a premonition or something. I didn’t think about it at the time, but I thought, ‘How long has it been since we’ve had a conversation like that?’ It’s been years.”

She added, “There was an inevitability to what was going to happen next to him, and he felt it very strongly.”
Matthew Perry died on October 28, 2023. The late actor’s autopsy revealed that drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine were the causes of his death. Five individuals, including a live-in assistant, two doctors and a woman, have been related to the ketamine supply given to Perry. U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada stated that these suspects took advantage of Perry’s addiction issues.
He gained global fame after playing the role of Chandler Bing in the sitcom ‘Friends’. He also starred in several popular movies including ’17 Again’ and ‘Fools Rush In’.
