Former Prime Minster Manmohan Singh passed away on December 26 at the age of 92. The news of his demise was announced by AIIMS, where he was admitted. He was one of the longest-serving Prime Ministers of India and is known to transform India’s economy. Several celebrities from the film fraternity paid heartfelt tribute after his demise and remembered his legacy.
Chiranjeevi expressed his grief on the demise of Manmohan Singh and wrote, “Deeply anguished by the passing away of one of the greatest statesmen Our country has ever produced, highly educated, most graceful, soft-spoken and humble leader Dr Manmohan Singh Ji! His visionary and game-changing contributions as the Finance Minister and then his highly successful tenure as the 13th Prime Minister of India for two successive terms will remain etched in history.”

Anupam Kher, who played the role of Dr Manmohan Singh in his biopic, also paid tribute to him. He wrote, “Deeply saddened to know about the demise of former #PrimeMinister of India #DrManmohanSingh!
