Renowned Indian filmmaker Karan Johar, known for his controversial show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and candid remarks, has lately been using his social media platforms, particularly Instagram, to share unfiltered thoughts. Several times actress Kangana Ranaut accused Karan Johar of being a ‘flag bearer of nepotism’ in the Bollywood industry. After being quite for a long time, the Indian filmmaker has started using social media to express his real opinion. But the Indian filmmaker did not mention anyone’s name.

Addressing the topic of cosmetic surgeries and enhancements, Johar recently penned a cryptic post on his Instagram stories on April 1, 2024. In his post, he reflected on how procedures like fillers, botox, and surgery may alter one’s outward appearance, but the essence or nature of a person remains unchanged. Johar expressed his views with the following words: “Fillers laga lo fulfilment nahin milti… makeup laga lo umar nai ghat thi… karlo jitna bhi botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya… Going under the knife se exterior badal bhi jaaye… Lekin meri jaan… Fitrat nahi badalti…”

While Karan Johar remains actively involved in his professional endeavors alongside his social media presence. Recently, he produced films like ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan,’ starring Sara Ali Khan, and Siddharth Malhotra’s ‘Yodha,’ though the latter did not fare well commercially. Johar is also producing upcoming projects such as Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra”‘ and the sequel to ‘Brahmastra.’ Additionally, he is backing the film ‘Bad Newz,’ featuring Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk, and Triptii Dimri.

Furthermore, according to a recent report by TOI, Karan Johar has revealed plans to adapt “Student Of The Year 3” into a web series, with direction by Reema Maya. Speaking about this development at the Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF) in Chandigarh.
