A massive fire destroyed the set of actor Dhanush's upcoming movie "Idly Kadhai" causing significant damage on April 19 in Anuppapatti village. A video of the fire has gone viral, showing the set burning badly. The fire was so intense that most of the set turned into ashes.
Reports suggest that the shooting of the movie was already finished before the fire started. But it is still not clear what caused the fire or if it will delay the film’s release. The set was newly designed to look like a realistic street with shops, homes, and a road. Fortunately no casualties have been reported.

About Idly Kadhai
Idly Kadhai is Dhanush’s fourth film as a director, after Pa Paandi, Raayan, and Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam. The film stars Nithya Menen in the lead role, with veteran actors Arun Vijay, Rajkiran, and Samuthirakani.
Although most of the story and cast details have been kept secret, an old poster shared by Dhanush showed that his character runs a small eatery named “Sivanesan Idly Kadai.” The movie is still in production and is expected to release later this year, though an official release date hasn’t been announced yet.
