Shahid Kapoor is now reportedly returning to the OTT space with the much- anticipated sequel of his digital debut, Farzi. As per the reports of Pinkvilla, Shahid is said to be earning his highest fee till date for Farzi 2, premiering on Amazon Prime Video hit.
The film is directed by Raj & DK and gained widespread praise for its gripping and interesting storyline and sharp performances.
Shahid Kapoor To Get Biggest Pay Cheque Yet
Reports, further claims that Shahid Kapoor will take home a whopping Rs. 45 crore for Farzi 2 marking it as the most earned project. However, his usual fee for films ranges from Rs. 25 to Rs. 30 crore but he reportedly follows a different pay scale when it comes to OTT projects.
Shooting Likely To Begin In December 2025
The report also suggests that Farzi 2 will begin it’s shooting towards the end of 2025. Filmmakers Raj & DK are currently occupied with their upcoming series ‘Rakt Brahmand’, so, once that wraps up, they will be beginning with the pre-production for Farzi 2.
Sequel To Feature High-Stakes Drama
According to the insiders, the plot for second season has already been discussed with Shahid. Fans can expect a high-octane face-off between Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi and Kay Kay Menon. The second season will be seen carrying forward the intense crime-thriller narrative of season 1.
