New Delhi: Actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has a lot on his plate right now. He has already revealed poster of Don 3 and caused stir in fan by replacing Shahrukh Khan with Ranveer Singh as Don.
It was a little uncomfortable having Shahrukh Khan being replaced who played the role in last two films of the franchise. You ask any 90s kid about Don and they will tell you about a plastic phone that used to ring with Don title track and the “King of Romance” himself.
However, fans trust Farhan’s choice on this and are giving a chance to Ranveer Singh after the stir was put on rest.
Jee Le Zara
In one of the major projects that Akhtar has in pipeline is “Jee Le Zara” that was announced in 2021 with Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. However, there were periodical speculations of actors being replaced with other Bollywood stars but nothing was confirmed.
Farhan Akhtar was asked about “Jee Le Zaraa” who revealed that he was a little distracted by Don 3 but now his focus is on the film with women in lead. Some said that Priyanka and Katrina are not going to be in the movie anymore, but nobody went on record to confirm that.
Farhan Akhtar said he was waiting for everyone’s schedules to match up before they can start making the movie. He said before Don 3, he has two other movies that he will be acting in next year.

Farhan Akhtar had last appeared in Toofan (2021) and The Sky is Pink (2019). He has done impressive work in Wazir (2016), Karthik Calling Karthik (2010) and Dil Dhadakne Do (2015). He had made his debut in Bollywood as actor in Zoya Akhtar’s Luck by Chance (2009).
He has produced Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in 2011 starring himself alongside of Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin.
