New Delhi: After Diwali, sad news has come from Bollywood that there is a wave of mourning in the cinema world. It is reported that famous Bollywood director Esmayeel Shroff has passed away. This news surprised the stars, filmmakers as well as fans of the cinema world. It is said that he was ill for a long time and was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai where he took his last breath at the age of 62.
It is also reported that he died due to a brain stroke. Esmayeel Shroff was a resident of Andhra Pradesh. He studied sound engineering at the National Institute of Technology. After this, he thought of working in films and came to Mumbai. Initially, he worked as an assistant director and then produced films himself.

Govinda mourns
After hearing this news, Bollywood actor Govinda whose debut film Love 86 was directed by Esmayeel Shroff, mourned for him. He told E-Times, “I’m deeply saddened. My career started with his film. Uparwala unko jannat naseeb karaye (May the almighty guide his soul to heaven). May his soul rest in peace. Not only did he give me work, but he used to have faith in me, too. He was the first person in my life who said that Govinda understands cinema. He played a big role in making me Govinda from Govind.”
