Indira Bhaduri Death: Several media reports claimed that Jaya Bachchan’s mother and Amitabh Bachchan’s mother-in-law, Indira Bhaduri passed away in a private hospital in Bhopal, at the age of 94. It also stated that Jaya Bachchan and her son Abhishek Bachchan have already arrived in Bhopal, while Amitabh Bachchan and the rest of the Bachchan family are expected to join them soon via private jet for the final rites. However, sources close to the Bachchan family have clarified that the news is fake.
The source shared, “Jaya Bachchan and her family have not experienced any loss. We kindly request fans to remain supportive and to seek reliable updates, avoiding engagement with misleading or unverified information. (sic)”
It further stated that the fake news would only add to the misery of her family, and hence such news should be handled with sensitivity. “The emotional toll on families during trying times is profound, and they should not have to contend with the added burden of false reports. We urge everyone to respect the privacy of the Bachchan family at this time and to seek information from reliable sources for future updates.”
Another report by India Today also stated that Indira is currently in Bhopal hospital due to a “backbone-related issue.” However, her caretaker her informed the media house that she is doing fine.
