Fahadh Faasil, who is enjoying the success of his latest movie ‘Aavesham’, revealed his recent ADHD (Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) diagnosis during an event in Kothamangalam, Kerala. He participated in an event at the Peace Valley Children’s Village where he discussed his condition. Based on his speech, it appears that he was diagnosed fairly recently. He also shared details about his conversation with a doctor regarding ADHD.
Addressing the audience, Fahadh Faasil started his speech with ‘Eda Mone’, evoking memories of his role as Ranga in ‘Aavesham’. He then disclosed that while he was exploring the children’s village, he approached a doctor and asked if ADHD could be easily cured.
He explained that the doctor told him ADHD can be easily cured if diagnosed at a young age. Fahadh then asked if it could be cured if diagnosed at the age of 41. He revealed that he is clinically diagnosed with ADHD.
Fahadh Faasil turned 41 on August 8, 2023, and his ADHD diagnosis has raised concerns among his fans.
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that impacts the brain’s ability to regulate attention, behavior, and impulse control. While it is commonly diagnosed in children, it can also affect adults.

Recently, Fahadh Faasil starred in director Jithu Madhavan’s film ‘Aavesham’. Released in theatres on April 11, the movie has grossed over Rs 100 crore worldwide. Following positive reviews, the film premiered on Prime Video.
The actor completed his scenes in Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyan’. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film is scheduled to release in October. Additionally, he will appear in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, set to hit theatres on August 15.
Recently, Fahadh Faasil collaborated with director Jeethu Joseph, known for ‘Drishyam’. He also has a Tamil film titled ‘Maareesan’ in the pipeline.
