‘The Family Man Season 3’ is finally streaming on Prime Video after a four-year wait. Several characters have become fan favourites, but this one actor is loved by all. It is none other than Vedant Sinha, who plays the role of Manoj Bajpayee’s on-screen son Atharv in the series and brings the innocent humour to the serious tone of the plot. In an exclusive interview with News24, Vedant reveals his experience of working with the stellar cast and crew in ‘The Family Man Season 3, growing up on the show and more.
Working with talented actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani can be nerve-wracking, but Vedant says he had a pretty easy time on the set. While talking about doing scenes with big stars, he says, “I have been working with Raj & DK sir for so long, around 6-7 years, so you understand what they want. I also think Manoj sir (Bajpayee) has that easy and secure personality, which makes me just go through it because I’ve never felt anything pushy or forced. It just comes naturally, and I think that’s what the good part is, because we want everything with honesty.”
The plot of The Family Man Season 3 has shifted as Srikant’s family also gets entangled in the threatening mission. On balancing humour with serious scenes in the new season, Vedant Sinha reveals, “This time, it was pretty serious, and I focused on the serious emotions more. I was able to do comedy easily because I’ve been working with this family for so long. They are my second family now. I was never really stressed about the serious part; I felt relaxed. I started working at 10 with the cast. This time, I learned how to manage and balance my emotions.”
Vedant shares how the cast of The Family Man has become his second family over the years and praises their professionalism.
While talking about his bond with his on-screen mom Priyamani, who plays Suchi, he says, “Especially for Priyamani ma’am, it’s that feeling that you get from your mom. She’s like my second mom.”
Vedant also shares a funny incident that happened during a scene with Manoj Bajpayee. Recalling the scene, he reveals, “One time, Manoj sir randomly improvised ‘peeche se hawa nikalti hai’ and I laughed so hard that they cut the scene just before my laugh. He used to play the game of who would crack up first during the scene. I also made him laugh one time during a scene because I did something stupid.”
‘The Family Man Season 3’ is streaming on Prime Video. Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur are the new additions to the star cast.
