You are playing a superhero in Kaur Versus Kore?
This is definitely something I’m very excited about. I get to be a superhero and I think if we’re going create a superhero film, it should just knock you off your seat when you’re watching it, and that’s my expectation is to wow everybody with the technology that India has to offer and the brilliant minds behind creating this film.
Kaur Versus Kore is based on the Artificial Intelligence technique. How did it happen?
Kore Universe actually started about eight years ago. It’s a concept that my husband, Daniel Weber, and I had worked on about a superhero from another realm, another world, and we created this trailer, which you can see on YouTube, and that’s where the character and idea started. And from there, Daniel met with the company Paparazzi Entertainment, and he presented this idea of creating an AI version of Core, and you know, obviously, the story will be different from what is seen on YouTube.
This is India’s first AI film?
I am so excited to be able to play a superhero in the exact way that it should be highlighted and projected out there.
Wife, mother, actor, model…which role defines you the best?
I would like to believe that I’m a woman who can wear many different hats in life. So there’s nothing wrong with doing everything. Why can’t we? And I think fathers do that, I think mothers do that, and it’s definitely satisfying when you can juggle everything and give not only your family the right amount of attention, but also yourself and your businesses. So I feel fortunate that both myself and my husband are able to multitask and do many things.
What are your expectations from Kaur Versus Core?
My expectations for Kaur Versus Kore are actually seeing a dream, an idea, a thought that I had eight years ago of wanting to be a superhero, and thinking maybe if I present this to the world, I can make it come true, and somebody will cast me, or I’ll be able to make this film. Sometimes things take a very long time to come true.
What are your future plans?
I don’t know, just be myself, keep working, keep hustling, keep doing what I want to do, believe in myself, fight for what I want to. Hopefully, being a good human in the process and being a loving mother, loving wife. That’s always a plan. I’ve always created my own opportunities. I’ve always been on my own path. I’ve not been following what you would call the more traditional way of being in entertainment, and that is not something that was necessarily always by choice.
You always made your own choices?
It was by no choice and in creating our own world and creating, you know, a situation where I would be happy with the businesses that we start or create or invest in, and the different entertainment opportunities and how we can leverage them in the proper way. So I think it’s all about creating your own path, and that’s for every artist right now because, yes, a film does not do so well on a Friday, but you know, you have to just keep working.
