FWICE has called for a meeting between director Ali Abbas Zafar and Pooja Entertainment’s Vashu Bhagnani at their office in Mumbai, BN Tiwari tells us exclusively.
The step was taken after Zafar accused the production house of not clearing his payment of 7.3 crore for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Sharing the letter that was sent to Bhagnani, Tiwari further shares, “We want everyone to discuss and sort this amicably. We have sent out the letter yesterday and are waiting for a response from them. The meeting will be attended by representatives of IFTDA and the complainant.”
Tiwari further shared that the same letter has been sent to other complainants including director Vikas Behl and Tinu Desai. “Vikas’ payment of 2.5 crore for Ganpath and Tinu’s payment of 33 Lakhs for Mission Raniganj has not been cleared by Pooja Entertainment, and hence we have called them too for the meeting,” he adds.
The letter addressed to Vashu Bhagnani read, “We had informed you vide the said letter about the outstanding dues of Mr Ali Abbas Zafar, member of our affiliate association IFTDA. We would like to convene a JDSC meeting in the FWICE office to discuss the matter in the presence of you, the complainant members and the FWICE DSC committee. We also request you to attend this meeting as and when convened with all the records pertaining to the payment due of Mr. Ali Abbas Zafar and submit your say in front of the FWICE.”
