The teaser for Emraan Hashmi’s new upcoming film, Ground Zero, has been released, giving us a glimpse into an intense war drama inspired by real life events, directed by Tejas Deoskar, the shooting of the film was done in Kashmir and will be released in big screens on April 25, 2025.

The teaser of ‘ground zero’ was shared on social media, with the caption: “Bravery, sacrifice, and a mission that changed everything. #GroundZero teaser out now! #AbPrahaarHoga.”

It starts with a warning from a terror group and shows an attack on Indian soldiers, which led to the loss of 70 lives. Emraan Hashmi is introduced as BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, a real life hero who led a dangerous mission to fight the enemy. The teaser ends with a powerful question from Emraan’s character: ” Sirf Kashmir ki zameen humaari hai ya yahan ke log bhi?” (Does Kashmir’s land belong to us, or do its people also belong to us?)
About the film
Ground Zero is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, and co-produced by several others, including Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani. The movie will release in theaters on April 25, 2025.
What’s Next for Emraan Hashmi?
Emraan Hashmi will also be starred in Awarapan 2, a sequel to the 2007 film, where he is seen playing the character Shivam Pandit in a gripping action story.
