The trend has of re-release in Hindi cinema has become a boon or several movies as it has given many underrated films a well deserving success. After the massive success of Sanam Teri Kasam upon its re-release, it has been reported that some of Emraan Hashmi’s popular movies will also arrive in theatres again.
According to Pinkvilla, Emraan Hashmi-starrer ‘Awarapan’ and ‘Jannat’ will release in theatres again soon. The official release date of both the movies have not been announced yet. For the unversed, ‘Awarapan’ was not a hit at the box office but later gained popularity among the audience. ‘Jannat’ was a massive hit and Emraan Hashmi also return for its stand-alone sequel.
Jannat revolves around a gambler, who finds success after getting into match-fixing. But his greed takes his life to a different path. The movie also stars Sonal Chauhan in the lead role. Meanwhile, Awarapan revolves around a hitman, who is tasked with keeping an eye on his boss’s mistress. He soon realises that she has been a victim of sex trafficking and decides to unite her with her lover. The movie also stars Shriya Saran, Mrinalini Sharma, and Ashutosh Rana.
Talking about Sanam Teri Kasam, the movie stars Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane in the lead roles with Anurag Sinha, Manish Chaudhari, Murli Sharma and Sudesh Berry seen in the pivotal roles. The movie revolves around Inder, who is an ex-convict and fall in love with Saru, a traditional girl. They fall in love and get married despite facing problems but a tragedy changes their lives. The title track of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ has also been receiving love from the Indian audience and is currently the third most streamed song on Spotify. Ankit Tiwari and Palak Muchhal have lent their mesmerising voices to the title track. Meanwhile, Himesh Reshammiya is the music composer of Sanam Teri Kasam.
On the work front, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’ with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. He will next star in OG, which also marks his Telugu debut. He will also be seen in G2 with Adivi Sesh.
