New Delhi: The 74th Emmy Awards is all set to go live on Monday night (Tuesday morning India time). The prestigious awards will be given out to the best television and web content in the English language. But the good news is, this time, the ceremony will be streamed live in India on a streaming platform.

Where to watch Emmy Awards 2022

In the US, the awards will be telecast on NBC, and in India, it will stream exclusively on Lionsgate Play.

When to watch

Well, the catch here is, that if one wants to witness the live streaming of the 74th Emmy Awards, he or she must have to wake up quite early. That’s right! The ceremony will begin on Monday, September 12, at 8 pm Eastern Time and finish at 11 pm. In India, it will start at 5.30 am and finish around 8.30 am.

This prestigious award is given out by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. As already said, these awards honour the best in American programming airing between June 1 2021, and 31st May 2022.

The nominations for the award were announced on July 12. The HBO series Succession bagged 25 nominations, followed by 20 each for Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso and HBO’s The White Lotus. The ceremony will take place in the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Emmy Awards will be hosted by Kenan Thompson.

Also known as the Television Academy Awards, the ceremony will be a star-studded night like every year. All the A-list stars will walk down the red carpet for the prestigious ceremony. The popular shows among this year’s nominees include Succession, Ted Lasso, and Euphoria among others. The first-time nominees include Squid Game, Severance among others.
