Elli AvrRam’s grandmother passed away on August 31, 2025. The actress penned a heartfelt note on Instagram in which she remembered her late grandmother and the beautiful memories she created with her. She revealed that her grandmother was suffering from dementia before passing away. Elli also shared the videos and photos in which she is seen spending quality time with her grandma.
Elli wrote on Instagram, “Rip Jiajiam 31-08-2025. Its been a blessing to grow up with my grandparents. Despite the heartbreak of knowing the journey of my grandmother have now ended in this dimension, Im at peace, knowing she’s now united with papou (grandpa). All I can do is to remember all beautiful moments i have got to share with her since my childhood. She had the funniest dark humour and our kitchen conversations were always endless! Many of you got to witness her on my stories during the years, until dementia took over too much… Mou lipis jiajiam s’agapo gia panda. Om Shanti.”
Zareen Khan commented, “Love and strength to you.” Elli’s co-star Maniesh Paul wrote, “Please accept my condolences. Om shanti.”
On Ellvi AvRam’s work front, she has established herself as a well-known actress in Bollywood and has worked in several popular movies. She made her Hindi debut in 2013 with ‘Mickey Virus’. She later appeared in comedy movies like ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ and gained huge popularity with her dance numbers. She proved her acting prowess with some serious roles in films like ‘Malang’, ‘Goodbye’, ‘Ilu Ilu 1998’ and many more.
