The plot follows Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim, who work together to bring Go Da-rim’s ex-boyfriend into a business deal. But things change between them after Da-rim kisses Ji-hyeok, and they fall for each other. Their romance ends abruptly as Da-rim quickly departs back home after hearing the news about her mother’s heart attack.
The fate brings them together after Da-rim unknowingly joins Ji-hyeok’s company, but she lies about being married and a mother in her resume to get the job. She lies to pay off her debts and get treatment for her mother. However, Ji-hyeok is left distraught after seeing Da-rim and knowing about her marital status, but remains unaware of the truth. The rest of the story follows how Da-rim survives the job while trying to hide the truth and her feelings for Ji-hyeok.
