The actor who cherishes his family with Alia , their daughter Raha and his mother Neetu Kapoor spoke about this unusual fan interaction in a recent interview.
The Fan Who Took Admiration Too Far
While talking to Mashable India, the Animal star shared a throwback story where he revealed that a fan, whom he has never met went over the top to show her love for him. He revealed that, she arrived at his family bungalow with a pandit and performed a marriage ceremony with his gate!
Recalling the incident, Ranbir said, “I wouldn’t say craziest, as it’s used in a negative way, but I remember, in my early years, there was a girl — I never met her — but my watchman told me that she came with a pandit and married my gate. At the bungalow where I lived with my parents, there was a tika on the gate and some flowers. I was out of town at the time, I think, so that was quite crazy. I haven’t yet met my first wife, so I look forward to meeting you at some point.”
