Tamil actor Pradeep Ranganathan, who has always impressed the audience with his performances, is back on the big screens with the movie ‘Dude’. The romantic-comedy focuses on childhood friends Agan and Kural, who are inseparable. When Kural encounters romantic troubles, Agan has to balance his hidden feelings for her with his desire to ensure her happiness. The movie has been having a good run at the box office.
Dude Box Office Collection Day 3:
According to the website Sacnilk, Dude collected Rs 10.50 crore on day 3 as per early estimates. The movie has earned Rs 30.35 crore in total.
Pradeep was earlier in the news when a reporter told him he was not hero material. He asked the actor, “You don’t look like you are hero material. But you seem to have a big fan following for someone who has done a few films. It happens very rarely. So, would you attribute it to hard work or luck?”
Sarath Kumar, who is Pradeep’s co-star, intervened and said, “You cannot say from A to Z who is hero material. Everybody here is hero material. You don’t have any specifications for a hero. A person who is doing any act which is going to be benefitting society is a hero.”
The movie is written and directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It also stars Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, alongside Neha Shetty, R. Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon and Rohini.
