Chhaava screenings have witnessed some unexpected fan moments, making headlines for all the wrong reasons. From a fan arriving on horseback to another tearing apart the screen, the film has sparked some wild reactions in theaters. These unusual behaviors have left many stunned and talking.
A drunk man was arrested at a movie theater in Bharuch, Gujarat, according to a report by The Indian Express. Videos on social media show the man ripping the big screen while the recently released Chhaava was playing.
Drunk Fan Destroys Movie Screen
According to the report, the incident happened on Sunday night at RK Cinemas. During the 11:45 pm show, the man, named Jayesh Vasava, climbed onto the podium, used a fire extinguisher to rip the screen, and made a big tear before the theater staff stopped him.

This isn’t the only strange incident during Chhaava screenings. Earlier on Tuesday, another video went viral showing a man arriving at the theater dressed like the main character and riding a horse.
About the movie Chhaava :
Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, telling the brave Maratha ruler’s story, starting from his coronation in 1681. The movie also features Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.
The film has faced controversy, especially over a dance scene where Sambhaji Maharaj was shown performing the Lezim, a traditional Maharashtrian dance. The scene was removed after political figures, including Maharashtra Minister Uday Samant, raised objections.
The film earned ₹33.10 crores on its opening day at the Indian box office. So far, its worldwide earnings have reached ₹145 crore, according to the film’s producers.
