New Delhi: The makers of Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Drishyam 2 have released its much awaited trailer on October 17. Drishyam 2 is a sequel to Nishikant Kamat’s hit thriller from 2017. The movie features Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles.
The trailer begins with Ajay Devgn’s monologue that truth does come up eventually, no matter how deep you bury it. The video seems intriguing even more with the entry of Tabu as IG Meera Deshmukh. Drishyam 2 will surely keep you guessing for more.
Akshaye Khanna will be portraying the role of a cop who seems to know a little or two about Ajay Devgn and his family’s secret.

The crime thriller is all set to hit the theatres on November 18. Ajay Devgn also shared the trailer of the film on his Instagram handle. Sharing the trailer, the actor wrote, “Shabdon pe nahin, drishyon pe dhyaan do. Kyunki shabdon mein, jhoot chupne ki jagah dhoond hi leta hai. #Drishyam2Trailer Out Now. Case Reopens on 18th November, 2022.”
Directed by Abhishek Patha, the movie has been produced by T-series and Panorama Studios. The film also stars Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutt in pivotal roles.

The main character of the movie is Vijay Salgaonkar, a fourth-fail cable company owner who resides in a hilly Goan town with his wife Nandini and daughters Anju and Anu. In addition to his family, Vijay is an avid moviegoer. They find themselves in front of IG Meera Deshmukh due to a terrible event in their daughter’s life.
Earlier, the first look poster created waves in the internet. The teaser was shared on Twitter by film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Adarsh wrote, “AJAY DEVGN: ‘DRISHYAM 2’ TEASER ARRIVES…. The case reopens… Drishyam 2 recall teaser out now… Stars Ajay Devgn… Costars Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor and Ishita Dutta… Directed by Abhishek Pathak… In *cinemas* 18 November 2022.” Ajay Devgn also shared the teaser on Twitter and wrote, “Vijay aur uske parivaar ki kahaani toh yaad hogi na aapko? Ki yaad dilaye? Drishyam 2 in cinemas on 18th November, 2022.”
