New Delhi: Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna starrer Drishyam 2 had given a bumper earning record in the first week itself. The movie which hit the theatres on November 18, is having a real command over the box office with exceptionally earning good numbers at the box office.
Now on its day 9, Drishyam 2 is expected to be in the vicinity of Rs. 14 cr nett. The 9 day total of the film is Rs. 125 cr nett. If the second Sunday numbers keep going up, the film shall positively hit Rs. 150 cr nett by second Monday or Tuesday.
The release of Varun Dhawan’s ‘Bhediya’ in theatres on November 25 has affected the earnings of ‘Drishyam 2’.
According to Box Office India, “Drishyam 2 is extraordinary on its second Saturday as its looking at growth in the 80-90% range. the collections of the film look to be in the 14 crore nett range taking the film to almost 125 crore nett. the film now looks on course to cross the 200 crore nett mark as it will have over 160 crore nett on the board after two weeks.”

Currently, Ajay Devgan is busy with his upcoming film ‘Bhola’ and recently released its teaser.

Meanwhile, in the film, Tabu’s character is no longer a police officer and instead is working to defeat Ajay Devgn’s character. Given that the movie is a suspense thriller, it makes sense that Tabu is reluctant to give away any secrets.
