Drishyam 2 Box Office: Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna starrer Drishyam 2 released on November 18. The Abhishek Pathak directed crime thriller opened up with a decent numbers with positive reviews from audiences and critics.
Now on its Day 2, the movie paced up with outstanding collection. Drishyam 2 saw a jump of 45 percent on Saturday. The Ajay Devgn starrer managed to earn more than Rs 20 crore on Saturday, taking the two-day collection to surpass Rs 35 crore.
Eventually it broke the second day record of Kartik Aaryan's blockbuster movie Bhool Bhulaiya 2. . The Kartik Aaryan horror-comedy had minted Rs 18.34 crore on its second day.
As per earlier predictions, Drishyam 2 saw a great footfall on Day 2. If the trend remains steady, undoubtedly the film will soon cross a 50 crore mark within coming weekend.
Early projections indicate that the Abhishek Pathak-directed movie had a strong debut at the box office. Ajay Devgn is the star of Drishyam 2, which made roughly Rs 14.50 crore at the box office. The box office results for Drishyam 2 were posted on trade analyst Ramesh Bala’s Twitter account.“Excellent opening for @ajaydevgn ‘s #Drishyam2 Early estimates for Day 1 All-India Nett is ₹ 14.50 Crs. (sic),” he wrote. He further mentioned that the film is also doing well in the UAE, Singapore and Malaysia. “. @ajaydevgn ‘s #Drishyam2 is doing well in Overseas too.. UAE, Singapore and Malaysia (sic),” his tweet read.

Meanwhile, in Drishyam 2, Tabu’s character is no longer a police officer and instead is working to defeat Ajay Devgn’s character. Given that the movie is a suspense thriller, it makes sense that Tabu is reluctant to give away any secrets.
