New Delhi: Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna starrer Drishyam 2 is already a hit at the the box office. With a smashing opening of Rs 14.50 crore nett at the box office, the film recorded a decent jump of 45 percent on its second day.
On day 3, Drishyam 2 crossed the mark of Rs 60 crore nett. According to trade reports, the Ajay Devgn starrer ended the first weekend of its theatrical run at Rs 63.97 crore. Its single-day collection was a whopping Rs 27 crore. Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 had an overall 60.26 per cent Hindi occupancy on Sunday, November 20.
As per earlier predictions, the crime thriller saw a great footfall on Day 2. If the trend remains steady, undoubtedly the film will soon cross a 50 crore mark within coming weekend.
Early projections indicate that the Abhishek Pathak-directed movie had a strong debut at the box office. Ajay Devgn is the star of Drishyam 2, which made roughly Rs 14.50 crore at the box office. The box office results for the movie were posted on trade analyst Ramesh Bala’s Twitter account.

Meanwhile, in Drishyam 2, Tabu’s character is no longer a police officer and instead is working to defeat Ajay Devgn’s character. Given that the movie is a suspense thriller, it makes sense that Tabu is reluctant to give away any secrets.
The film is directed by Abhishek Patha, the movie has been produced by T-series and Panorama Studios. The film also stars Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutt in pivotal roles.
