The much-awaited sequel, “Dream Girl 2,” featuring the talented Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead, has made a remarkable mark on its very first day of release. The film garnered a substantial net collection of Rs 10.69 crore at the domestic box office, as confirmed by the makers on Saturday.
The sequel to Khurrana’s 2019 hit film, “Dream Girl 2,” directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, has hit the ground running. Khurrana reprises his role as Karam, a character that stole hearts in the first installment, and this time, he takes on the persona of Pooja to navigate a comical twist of events. The story revolves around Karam’s decision to cross-dress as Pooja to raise funds for his dream wedding to his beloved, portrayed by Ananya Panday.

The makers of the film announced that “Dream Girl 2” has achieved a remarkable feat, emerging as Khurrana’s “biggest opener till date.” This accomplishment surpasses the opening day earnings of his 2019 film “Bala,” which had garnered a commendable Rs 10.15 crore.
