New Delhi: The makers of Taapsee Pannu starrer Dobaaraa has finally dropped its trailer on Wednesday. After traveling to several film festivals including London Film Festival and Fantasia Film Festival 2022, the Taapsee Pannu starrer is all set to entertain us in cinema halls now. Ektaa R Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s highly anticipated new-age thriller Dobaaraa will hit the theatres on 19th August 2022.
The trailer shows Taapsee drowned in a whirlpool of mystery that is 26-years-old. Dobaaraa revolves around a woman, who in her spat to save a boy involved indirectly in a murder 2 decades ago, gets herself travelling between past and present and eventually changing it.
Dobaaraa trailer shows Taapsee, her husband and their daughter moving into a new home. The family finds out that in the house next to theirs, a young boy was killed 26 years ago, during a thunderstorm. Next, Taapsee’s character is seen communicating with that same young boy. The trailer does reveal that Dobaaraa tells the story of how during a thunderstorm, Taapsee’s character changes the past and in turn alters her present, too, it also teases thrilling theories of time travel.

Dobaaraa is the Hindi adaptation of Spanish thriller Mirage, which was released in 2018. The thriller also stars Rahul Bhat and Pavail Gulati. The movie will also see Saswata Chatterjee in an important role.

Dobaaraa is all set to open at the prestigious Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2022, which will begin on 12 August 2022 and will continue till 30th August 2022.
Just like the name of the film Dobaaraa, Ektaa R Kapoor coups in an impressive team of Tapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap after Manmarziyaan, Tapsee Pannu and Sunir Kheterpal after Badla, Tapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati after Thappad.
