Alia Bhatt celebrated her Diwali in a grand manner with her close friends and family. She posted some stunning pictures on Instagram, where everyone is dressed to the nines. The ‘Brahmastra’ star herself looked absolutely stunning in a golden saree and fans can’t stop praising her look.
Sharing the pictures, Alia Bhatt wrote, “fam jam x diwali glam.”
Alia Bhatt wore a saree designed by Ritu Kumar and kept her look minimal yet elegant.
Alia recently won the Filmfare Award in the Best Actress category for her role in ‘Jigra’. On the work front, Alia will next star in ‘Alpha’ with Sharvari.
She will also appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’ with Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor. The movie was scheduled to release in theatres in 2025 but got postponed. As per reports, the movie will now release in March 2026. It is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s second collaboration with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, as they worked together on ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Saawariya’ respectively. However, this is his first film with Vicky Kaushal.
Vicky has worked with both Alia and Ranbir before in ‘Raazi’ and ‘Sanju’ respectively. Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir, who are doting parents to their daughter Raha, have collaborated in ‘Brahmastra’.
According to a report by Mid-Day, Alia has been finalised to star as the female lead in Karan Johar’s next directorial, but the makers have yet to decide the male lead. The report further suggests that the makers have approached both Ranbir and Vicky for the lead role. An official announcement is expected to be made soon. Neither the actors not the filmmaker have commented on these reports yet.
