Divya Khosla Kumar recently opened up to fans in an interactive Q&A session on social media. From discussing her experiences in Bollywood to addressing ongoing rumours about her personal life.
Responding to a fan who asked how she protects her mental health amid the toxicity and competition in the industry, Divya didn’t mince words. She described Bollywood as “a place of crocodiles” where carving a genuine space for oneself can be painfully difficult.
Divya added that staying grounded and honest with oneself is the only way to survive in such an environment. “I will never sell my soul for work,” she said. “If opportunities come, great. If they don’t, that’s fine too. What matters is carrying good karma with you when you rise.”
When asked which project is closest to her heart, she mentioned Saavi, a film she shot in the UK under harsh weather conditions. Working 42 days straight in −10°C, she said, was tough but deeply rewarding thanks to an exceptional production experience.
One fan bluntly asked if she was divorced. Divya finally set the record straight: “No, I am not divorced. But the media definitely wants me to be.”
Divya married Bhushan Kumar producer and chairman of T-Series in 2005. Meanwhile on the work front, Divya was most recently seen in Ek Chatur Naar, where she starred alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh, playing the role of a poor woman in a film built around a socially positive message.
