About The Mithi River Alleged Scam

In this case, fraud is involved in acquiring and selling sludge pushers and dredging devices that the Mithi River is cleaned with by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. It is said that the machines came from Matprop Technical Services Private Limited in Kochi and were bought way over the market rate, with concerns about huge financial irregularities.

Charges in the Mithi River desilting scam involve suspicion that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) made invoices inflated and hired dredging and silt-pushing equipment in unusual ways. Earlier this month, the EOW arrested both Ketan Kadam, the director of Woder India LLP and Jayesh Joshi from Virgo Specialties Pvt Ltd. The duo teamed up with officials from the BMC and Matprop, helping them hike rates for Storm Water Drain (SWD) projects. The case authorities are assessing to see if Dino Morea played any part in the scam. So far, 13 people have been booked in the case.

On the work front, Dino will next be seen in Housefull 5 which is all set to hit the theaters on June 6. Known for his roles in films like Raaz, Aksar, Dus Kahaniyaan, and Gunaah, he made his Bollywood debut with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi in 1999.
