Diljit Dosanjh has become the talk of the town due to his concert tour across India. He recently took Chandigarh by storm with his show and has received an amazing response from the crowd. But he also expressed his frustration about the poor infrastructure for live shows in India and said he won’t perform until the stage is not at the centre.
During his show, Diljit told the crowd, “Here we don’t have infrastructure for live shows. This is a source of big revenue, many people get work and are able to work here…I’ll try next time that the stage is at the centre so that you can be around it. Till this happens, I won’t do shows in India, that’s for sure.”
Meanwhile, Diljit dedicated the Chandigarh concert to International Chess Federation (FIDE) World Champion Gukesh Dommaraju. He said, “Tonight’s concert is dedicated to the world chess champion Gukesh. Do you know why it is dedicated to him? Because whatever you dream of in life, Gukesh has already dreamt of it and made it a reality. He became the world champion.” Sharing the glimpse of his concert, he wrote in the caption, “Jina Marzi Rok Lao PANJABI AA GAYE OYE. CHANDIGARH was Magical DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24.”
Diljit Dosanjh will next perform in Kashmir and has shared the video of enjoying the region’s scenic beauty. Sharing the video, he posted, “KASHMIR 🇮🇳 THE HEAVEN ON EARTH.”
On the work front, Diljit recently collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan for the song ‘Don’. He earlier teamed up with Pitbull for the title track of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’.
