Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh recently discussed his ‘first love’ on a podcast. Known for being private about his personal life, The Crew actor has not commented on persistent rumors that he is married and has a child. When questioned about his first love, Diljit cleverly responded by choosing his own name.
Diljit expressed, in an interview, that he loves himself immensely, stating that he believes he is his own first love.
When asked his take on selfless love, Diljit expressed his belief in first loving yourself before loving others. He emphasized the importance of taking care of yourself first, reasoning that if you aren’t loved and cared for first, you won’t be able to give that love to someone else.

When asked if he believes in having a checklist for his partner, Diljit replied that he feels one should love themselves first. He likened it to the safety instructions on an aircraft, where you’re instructed to help yourself before helping others in case of turbulence. Diljit emphasized the importance of self-love, stating that if a person cannot love themselves, they cannot love or respect anyone else. He stressed that prioritizing one’s own well-being should be a priority for everyone.
All eyes turned to Diljit’s love life when an unnamed friend claimed he has a wife and child. According to the friend, the Punjabi singer’s wife is Indian-American, and they have a son. The profile piece, which describes Diljit as an intensely private person, mentions that little is known about his family, but his friends say his wife is American-Indian and they have a son, with his parents residing in Ludhiana. The report also claims that his wife and son live in the US.
