Diljit Dosanjh Leads The Chase In The Murder Mystery ‘Detective Sherdil’; Watch Trailer

Diljit Dosanjh stars as an investigator in Detective Sherdil, a mystery drama set in Budapest, revolving around the murder of a billionaire.

The trailer for Detective Sherdil, starring Diljit Dosanjh, dropped on Tuesday, sparking excitement among fans because Diljit is playing a detective instead of his usual fun loving characters.

The movie is set in Budapest and tells the story of a wealthy businessman named Pankaj Bhatti, played by Boman Irani, who gets murdered. What looks like a simple hate crime at first becomes much more complicated when family secrets and big money get involved.

Diljit plays Detective Sherdil, who works like the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. He teams up with Natasha, played by Diana Penty, to solve the murder case. Together they try to figure out who killed the businessman and why.

Produced by Ali Abbas Zafar and directed by debutant Ravi Chhabriya, Detective Sherdil features an ensemble cast including Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Chunky Panday, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sumeet Vyas, and Banita Sandhu. It will be released on Zee 5 on 20 June.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Diljit Dosanjh’s Sardaarji 3 trailer set to launch soon. The actor is also gearing up for his next big project Border 2, where he will share screen space with Sunny Deol.
