Salman Khan’s film Sikandar’s teaser has been released few hours back. Film which is directed by A.R. Murugadoss is all set to hit cinemas on 30th March 2025. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal.

However, what’s creating a buzz is the actor who is playing the main villain and he is none other than ‘Kattappa’ from Baahubali.

From Kattappa To Villain In Sikandar

Sathyaraj who is famous for his role as Kattappa in the Baahubali series, will be seen playing the villian in Sikandar. Known for his powerful screen presence and strong performances, Sathyaraj is expected to bring a new level of intensity to the film.

He was borned as Rangaraj Subbiah on 3rd October 1954 in Coimbatore. Sathyaraj always wanted to become an actor. However, his family, especially his mother was against this decision. Despite this, he left his hometown to pursue his dream and started his career in 1976.

Sathyaraj’s talent and dedication have helped him act in over 200 films which were mostly in Tamil cinema. His global recognition came by the character of ‘Kattappa’ in Baahubali. It helped earning him fans across the world.

Personal Life Marked By Challenges

Sathyaraj is married to a daughter of a filmmaaker, Maheshwari Sathyaraj. The couple has a daughter, Divya, who is a nutritionist.

As per reports, Sathyaraj’s wife has been in a coma for the past four years due to a brain stroke. Their daughter, Divya, recently revealed that her mother is fed through a PEG tube and has been bedridden ever since.

Now, as fans get to know that he is going to share screen with Salman Khan as antagonist, they are excited to see him back on screen.
