Akshay Kumar, originally named Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, firmly believes in the auspiciousness of the term ‘Om’. The Bollywood Khiladi reportedly incorporates ‘Om’ at the top of every page he writes on, for reasons known best to him, showcasing his strong belief in its goodness.
It’s worth noting that Akshay Kumar’s middle name also includes the term ‘Om’, and he named his production house ‘Hari Om Entertainment’ as well, highlighting his deep connection and belief in the significance of these names.
Akshay Kumar delivered several hits such as Toilet Ek Prem Katha, where his performance alongside Bhumi Pednekar received high praise from audiences. The film, produced at a cost of Rs 18 crore, grossed Rs 316.97 crore worldwide, marking it as one of Akshay’s top-earning films. Its profit of Rs 298 crore surpassed that of his other successful films like 2.0, Kesari, OMG 2, and Housefull, among others.
Akshay Kumar’s latest film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, did not perform well at the box office. His upcoming project is Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, featuring key roles played by Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Tiger Shroff, among others. The film is set to release on August 14.
