Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal turned 35 on July 23, and marked the milestone with what he called the “craziest” birthday of his life, a surprise celebration in London, reportedly planned by his rumoured girlfriend, RJ Mahvash. The duo was also spotted walking through the streets of London together.
Mahvash also wished him a happy birthday on her Instagram story, writing, “Happy birthday Yuzi! Getting older is a part of life and other parts are even worse. So all the best!”
The celebrations featured a group of dancers performing for Chahal. Sharing a video of the moment on Instagram, he wrote: “Hum ladko ki kabhi kabhi puri life bhi nikal jati hai bina birthday celebrate kare. This is my first birthday surprise in 3 decades and probably the craziest! And the world was spinning when all of this was happening! Numb. Grateful. Overwhelmed. Hope we all get friends who make such efforts to make us smile. Meanwhile, I am still trying to digest this fact that this HAPPENED IN REAL.”

The post sparked a flurry of reactions online. Some joked about his ex-wife, Dhanashree Verma, with comments like, “Choreography by Dhanashree” and “Ye Dhanashree ne plan kiya hoga.” Others speculated about the planner, one user added, “Who gave the surprise?” another penned, “Mujhe laga last me RJ propose karegi.”
Yuzvendra Chahal-RJ Mahvash Dating Rumours
Mahvash has been making headlines for her alleged relationship with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She was spotted several times with Chahal during the IPL season and was actively cheering for Chahal and the Punjab Kings.
The biggest hint came when Chahal appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show with Rishabh Pant and Gautam Gambhir. When Kiku Sharda brought up the “girl everyone’s talking about,” Chahal responded with a smile, “India jaan chuka hai, 4 mahine pehle”, a cryptic but telling remark that many took as a soft confirmation of his relationship with Mahvash.
While both have publicly denied dating rumours, their frequent appearances together continue to fuel speculation. These public appearances come after Chahal finalized his divorce from influencer Dhanashree Verma on March 20, 2025. They both tied knots in 2020.
