All time controversial comedian Russell Brand has sparked controversy anecdote surfaced online involving pop star Justin Bieber and music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Russell in seen recalling a moment from the Grammy Awards when he and his ex- wife Katy Perry joked about adopting Justin Bieber.
“We were like, ‘Let’s adopt him,’” said Russell. “We had this ongoing joke about keeping this kid and all his subsidiary rights.” Though the this was all said in joke but now Russell has changed his perspective.
Russell Suggests Justin Was Exploited By Diddy
Recalling this Justin said, “I realised that Diddy was probably exploiting him in a much more tangible way.” He explained how Justin rose to fame through social media, calling him the first modern celebrity and suggesting that the industry may have taken advantage of his success.
“He ain’t looking well now,” Russell added hinting at the toll fame may have taken on Justin’s mental health.

Russell Brand Faces Serious Allegations
Russell’s comments came at time when he himself is facing serious allegations and backlash. London’s Metropolitan Police are investigating multiple accusations against him including rape and sexual assault. Though Russell has publicly denied all claims, saying that, “I have never been a rapist.”
In a separate video, he criticised the UK government saying it has turned the law into a weapon and described his past self as a fool during his- single years.
