NTR Jr’s fans have been celebrating the release of the actor’s film ‘Devara’. From putting posters of the superstar across Hyderabad to burning firecrackers, the movie’s release is no less than a festival for fans. Amid the celebrations, a recent video has been going viral on social media in which a cutout of NTR Jr is seen on fire. Several netizens claimed that fans set the huge cutout of the actor on fire, as they were not happy with the movie. However, a police official has confirmed that this is false news.
According to The Quint, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Akshansh Yadav of the Central Zone in Hyderabad dismissed these rumours and revealed that the fire broke out because fans were burning the firecrackers near the cutout of NTR Jr. The fire was soon contained and the shows of the movie were running according to the schedule.
