Several X users began to criticise Deepika’s silence, claiming she had not publicly supported Ranveer. These posts immediately gathered traction, leading many to believe she had chosen not to disclose anything about Dhurandhar. However, the truth differs significantly from what was being shared.
A surge of posts appeared, with some users directly criticising Deepika. One person asked, “Has anyone seen Deepika Padukone, India’s mental health ambassador, post anything about Dhurandhar so far?” Not one Instagram Story or X-post. Leave alone the film, not even for her spouse, who played an important role in it. “Unless I have been living under a rock!”
Another user questioned her support directly, stating, “Deepika Padukone, aapki kya ray hain apne pati dev ke performance ke bartein main?” Is there a movie coming out soon? These posts implied she had been absolutely silent, but this is where the accusations come apart.

While the negative buzz continued, Deepika had previously expressed messages of support for her husband and the Dhurandhar team. The only reason they aren’t available right now is that she posted them on Instagram Stories, which disappear after 24 hours. One of her posts featured an image of the Indian flag with the words “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and the hashtag #Dhurandhar.

These posts plainly show that she did not remain silent at all.
