YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia is currently in the middle of a controversy due to his comments about ‘watching parents have sex’ on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. He received backlash from many people including singer B Praak, who claimed that he cancelled his appeared on Ranveer’s podcast due to his statement.
A new video has surfaced on the internet which claimed that B Praak was not invited to Ranveer’s podcast. In a video shared by Instagram page @dostcast and @thecarvakapodcast, Kushal claimed that B Praak was never invited but still bashed Ranveer. B Praak is yet to react to these claims.
The host of @thecarvakapodcast also claimed that the Teri Mitti singer has deleted the video from Instagram. However, B Praak’s video is still available on his page. While calling out Ranveer for his offensive comments, the singer earlier said in the video, “Radhe Radhe, doston! Kaise ho aap sab? Main na yaar, ek podcast mein jaane wala tha abhi, jo Beer Biceps ka tha, par humne cancel kar diya. Kyun? Kyunki aapko pata hai ki waha kaisi pathetic thinking hai aur kaise shabd use kiye ja rahe hain? Samay Raina ke show pe jo ho raha hai, yeh hamara Indian culture nahi hai. Yeh bilkul bhi hamara culture nahi hai.”
Questioning Ranveer’s objectional remarks, he added, “Aap apne parents ki kaunsi stories bata rahe ho? Aap unki kaunsi baatein kar rahe ho? Kis tareeke se baatein kar rahe ho? Yeh comedy hai? This is not at all comedy! Yeh stand-up comedy toh bilkul bhi nahi hai. Logon ko gaaliyan dena, logon ko gaaliyan sikhana—yeh kaunsi generation hai? Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha ki yeh generation kaunsi hai.”

About The Controversy:
Ranveer recently appeared on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent with Ashish Chanchlani and social media influencer Apoorva Makhija in the latest episode. The backlash was caused due to Ranveer’s question for one contestant as he said, “Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?” Later, Apoorva also asked, “have you ever seen a v***?”
These comments caused huge backlash, which led to the complaints being filed against the show. The complaint has also been filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission for allegedly using abusive language on the show and strict action has been demanded against Ranveer, Apoorva and Samay and the organisers of India’s Got Latent.
All Indian Cine Workers’ Associations (AICWA) wrote a letter to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, demanding a ban on ‘India’s Got Latent’ and legal action against its creators.
