This is why fans were taken by surprise when an X (formerly Twitter) account in his name surfaced and shared a post thanking audiences for the film’s response. The post quickly went viral, leaving many wondering if Akshaye Khanna had finally joined social media.
The tweet read, “Hi guys! Recently I joined X and I’m honestly feeling pretty good being here. I’ll continue for a month and see if I can move forward or not — but for now, please welcome me! Thank you for all your support on #Dhurandhar.”

But a closer look raised doubts. The account is not verified, has only around 150 followers, and was created back in September 2021. Because of this, many fans believe the account is not real.
Some users even asked the AI chatbot Grok for confirmation. The response said that Akshaye Khanna does not have any official social media accounts, including on X, and that the viral handle is not run by him or his team.
