Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, released on December 5 and has taken theatres by storm in India as well as worldwide. The film has smashed several records since its debut, delivering a thunderous Day 1 opening and continuing its strong upward run through Day 2 and Day 3. As the movie completes its first weekend, it stands tall with massive domestic and global earnings.

How much did Dhurandhar earn worldwide on day 3?
According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has earned nearly Rs 150 crore worldwide by the end of its opening weekend. In India alone, the film collected over Rs 118 crore gross. Overseas too, it has done well, adding Rs 30+ crore gross, with North America contributing over $2 million in its first weekend.
This opening has become the biggest of Ranveer Singh’s career, beating Padmaavat and Simmba. For director Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar marks another major success after URI: The Surgical Strike.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a tense spy thriller set in early 2000s Pakistan. Ranveer Singh plays an undercover Indian operative tasked with taking down the notorious Lyari gangs. Inspired by real events, the film features a strong ensemble including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan.
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar is confirmed to return with a sequel. It will hit the theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid 2026. The movie will also clash with Kannada star Yash’s next film, ‘Toxic’. It will be one of the biggest box office clashes of 2026.
Earlier, the movie made it to headlines regarding its plot as it was rumoured that the movie is based on Major Mohit Sharma. However, director Aditya Dhar has dismissed these rumours and issued an official clarification.
