Dhurandhar has dominated theatres and is in no mood to stop anytime soon. The movie is on its way to becoming one of the highest-grossing releases of 2025. It has surpassed many movies and has also beaten Allu Arjun’s blockbuster ‘Pushpa 2’.
On the third Monday, Pushpa 2 only earned around Rs 13 crore. But Dhurandhar has collected Rs 16.5 crore on the same day. As of now, Dhurandhar has earned Rs 572.25 crore in total within 18 days.
The movie stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role with Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.
Akshaye Khanna has been receiving immense praise for his performance as Rehman Dakait. Naveen Kaushik, who plays Donga in Dhurandhar, revealed that Akshaye Khanna was slapped multiple times by Saumya Tandon to get the scene right. For the unversed, Saumya slaps Akshaye Khanna’s character in anger after their eldest son dies in the film.
While speaking to Filmygyan about the scene, Naveen revealed, “This scene was retaken seven times.”
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar achieved another big milestone in Bollywood’s entire history and surpassed other blockbusters like Animal and Jawan. It has created history to have the highest earnings on the second Saturday in Hindi cinema. The movie earned Rs 53.70 crore on the second Saturday and has surpassed Chhaava, Stree 2, Animal, Jawan, Gadar 2, Saiyaara and The Kashmir Files. The movie has even defeated the Hindi collection of Pushpa 2 and Baahubali 2.
As per reports, Dhurandhar has been banned in six Gulf countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
