Ranveer Singh’s fans are eagerly waiting for his most-awaited comeback with ‘Dhurandhar’. However, an unfortunate incident reportedly took place on the set after a unit shooting in Ladakh suffered from food poisoning and were hospitalised in Leh. More than 100 crew members have reportedly been affected due to this.
According to a report by Mid-Day, the film unit suddenly developed severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and headache and were rushed to the Sajal Narbu Memorial (SNM) Hospital in Leh. “Over 100 workers of a Bollywood film crew were hospitalised in Leh after a suspected case of food poisoning late Sunday evening,” officials were quoted as saying by Mi-Day.
The doctors confirmed it was a case of mass food poisoning. The official further revealed, “Food samples have been collected for detailed analysis to identify the cause.”
The patients are now in stable condition, and most of them have been discharged.

Apart from Ranveer, the movie also stars Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie will hit the theatres on December 5, 2025.

Ranveer will also star in ‘Don 3’, but the movie has been delayed due to an unknown reason. The movie will be directed by Farhan Akhtar. According to a source close to the development, the movie might release in theatres in 2026. A source told Subhash K Jha, “There’s been a delay, yes. But it couldn’t be helped. Ranveer Singh, who replaced Shah Rukh Khan in the franchise, had to face a surplus of trolling online for ‘daring’ to step into SRK’s shoes.”
“Farhan and Ranveer mutually decided to lie low to let the heat die down. He also needed time to prepare for the part as it requires special martial arts skills. After that, Kiara Advani, who was signed in place of Priyanka Chopra as the leading lady, got pregnant. Farhan had to halt the show on account of Kiara’s changed circumstances. Thirdly, Farhan got busy with his gruelling regime as an actor in the war film 120 Bahadur, where he plays Major Shaitan Singh. It is scheduled for release on November 21, 2025,” the source added.

As of now, there has been no update about ‘Don 3’.
He was last seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ with Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra. ‘Dhurandhar’ will mark his first full-fledged role in over two years. He briefly made an appearance in ‘Singham Again’ in 2024.
