Ranveer Singh’s action packed spy film Dhurandhar is all set to release in theatres on December 5, 2025. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie is creating a lot of excitement because of its intense storyline and its strong star cast. Even before it hits the big screen, reports suggest that plans for its online release are already in place.
When and where will Dhurandhar stream?
As per a report by OTTPlay, Dhurandhar will make its streaming debut on Netflix, which has reportedly secured the film’s digital rights. The spy action drama is expected to arrive on the platform on January 30, 2026, following its theatrical window. An official confirmation is still awaited, but the update has already fuelled excitement among fans.

More about Dhurandhar
The film features a strong lineup of actors. Ranveer Singh plays the lead, with well-known names like Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Naveen Kaushik, and Manav Gohil also playing important roles.
Some people initially thought the film was inspired by the life of Ashoka Chakra awardee Major Mohit Sharma, but director Aditya Dhar has clearly stated that this is not true.
There is also talk that Dhurandhar may be released in two parts, with the second one possibly coming out in mid-2026. Another rumour says the film could be around 3.5 hours long, which would make it one of the longest Bollywood movies in recent years.
Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is produced by Lokesh Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande, and Aditya Dhar under B62 Studios and Jio Studios. The film features music by Shashwat Sachdev, cinematography by Vikash Nowlakha, and editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker.
