Dhurandhar is currently the topic of discussion on social media as netizens can’t stop praising him. Another thing has caught attention after some people noticed Rahul Gandhi’s name being written as the executive producer. Many people assumed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is associated with the film, but that’s not the case.
Congress member and the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is not the executive producer of Dhurandhar. After seeing the name, many netizens cracked jokes about Rahul Gandhi changing his career and joining films.
The Rahul Gandhi mentioned is reportedly a senior producer who has worked on projects like The Family Man, Lucky Bashkar, Vedaa, Farzi, Rocket Boys, Rustom, and many more.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar achieved another big milestone in Bollywood’s entire history and surpassed other blockbusters like Animal and Jawan. It has reated history to have the highest earnings on the second Saturday in Hindi cinema. The movie earned Rs 53.70 crore on the second Saturday and has surpassed Chhaava, Stree 2, Animal, Jawan, Gadar 2, Saiyaara and The Kashmir Files. The movie has even defeated the Hindi collection of Pushpa 2 and Baahubali 2.
As per reports, Dhurandhar has been banned in six Gulf countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The makers reportedly tried to release the film in these nations but did not get clearance due to its sensitive topic and anti-Pakistan theme. A source was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama, “There were apprehensions that this would happen as the film is perceived as an ‘anti-Pakistan film’. The team still made an attempt, but none of the countries approved the film’s theme. That’s why Dhurandhar hasn’t been released in any Gulf territory.”
The movie stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role with Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It is directed by Aditya Dhar, best known for his incredible work in URI: The Surgical Strike.
