Ranveer Singh’s action packed spy film Dhurandhar is all set to release in theatres on December 5, 2025. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie is creating a lot of excitement because of its intense storyline and its strong star cast.
Advance booking opened six days early, giving it enough time to build hype. While the initial numbers aren’t huge, the pre booking is decent.

As per Sacnilk, because Dhurandhar is more mass friendly, experts believe bookings will rise sharply in the last couple of days. At this pace, the film is expected to easily beat the Rs 12 crore opening of 83, which would make it Ranveer’s biggest opener after the pandemic.
Right now, the film seems set for at least a Rs 15 crore opening day. If pre sales pick up further, it could even reach Rs 20 crore or more. With buzz growing every day, Dhurandhar is shaping up to be one of the strongest releases of the season.

The film features a strong lineup of actors. Ranveer Singh plays the lead, with well-known names like Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Naveen Kaushik, and Manav Gohil also playing important roles.
Some people initially thought the film was inspired by the life of Ashoka Chakra awardee Major Mohit Sharma, but director Aditya Dhar has clearly stated that this is not true.
There is also talk that Dhurandhar may be released in two parts, with the second one possibly coming out in mid 2026. Another rumour says the film could be around 3.5 hours long, which would make it one of the longest Bollywood movies in recent years.
