Dhurandhar box office collection day 5:
According to the website Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned Rs 26.50 crore on day 5 as per the early estimate. The movie has achieved a big milestone by crossing Rs 150 crore. It has collected Rs 152.75 crore in total in India as of now.
By looking at the data of the fifth day earnings of big hits of 2025, Dhurandhar has surpassed them. It has surpassed Chhaava, which earned Rs 24 crore on day 5, and has also left Saiyaara behind, which earned Rs 25 crore on its fifth day.
Dhurandhar is confirmed to return with a sequel, releasing of March 19, 2026. The movie will clash with Yash’s film ‘Toxic’.
Earlier, the movie made it to headlines regarding its plot as it was rumoured that the movie is based on Major Mohit Sharma. However, director Aditya Dhar has dismissed these rumours and issued an official clarification.
He wrote on X, “Hi, sir – our film Dhurandhar is not based on the life of braveheart Major Mohit Sharma AC(P) SM. This is an official clarification. I assure you, if we do make a biopic on Mohit sir in the future, we will do it with full consent and in complete consultation with the family, and in a way that truly honors his sacrifice for the nation and the legacy it has left for all of us.”
Meanwhile, the movie also stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It is directed by Aditya Dhar, best known for his incredible work in URI: The Surgical Strike.
